holy crap.

i had to run max by the pediatrician today to make sure his ear infection was all cleared up. it was! while i was there, i asked the doctor to take a look in his mouth. you are never going to guess what she said …

poor little max is cutting six teeth simultaneously. my baby! i was kidding when i said i expected to wake up and see him with a mouth full of choppers. but, looks like that might be the case. we are to give him children’s motrin instead of tylenol to knock out the pain. seems to be working so far.

he and alex are pretty competitive already. i should have known that max had something up his sleeve when alex got the first tooth. that boy does not like to be outdone.

in other news, my mum and dad came over today to anchor the leaning mirror and tall dresser to the walls. thank you so much. let the pulling up begin!

ps—no orajel because they tend to swallow it and it can cause a nasty bellyache.
